Caroline DeLuca is in her last year of the Writing Seminars B.A. program at Johns Hopkins University. She also teaches creative writing workshops to long-term patients in a Baltimore substance abuse recovery program. In her spare time she enjoys reading, theatre, spending time with family and friends, and taking walks at a decidedly New York pace.
She has been tinkering with words and stories ever since she wrote her first “book” at age five, which consisted of six pages and approximately thirty staples. Caroline is currently at work on a novel that will depart from the “more staples, better book” maxim of her earlier, more avant-garde creations, despite the notoriety it earned her among elementary school literati. This anthology is her first publication.
